My project consists of the ergonomic optimization of an electrical cable assembly process. The current process is performed manually, but I have improved the ergonomic conditions of the operator by redesigning the layout of the workstation (using the ISO 14738 directives), by inserting a collaborative robot in the process (UR5 robot) and by evaluating the RULA ergonomic benefits using a simulation software (“Process Simulate” by Siemens). In this regard, a “PRO writer” should write 8 pages following the instructions written in the attached document.
