Advocacy Letter

    C​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​hoose one legislative issue affecting nurse practitioners (either state or federal) and write a letter to the appropriate legislator either in support or opposition to this issue. The letter must include the proper components of a letter as listed in the rubric. The letter will be prepared and sent to your representative. Please refer to the rubric below. APA format is not needed as this is a letter. R​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​esearch a current topic within the last 3 years related to how an NP practices or a topic that affects patient care provided by the NP. Discuss what the issue is, who it affects in a letter to the representative. In a letter to the representative, state your position on the issue and 2-3 reasons why this issue is so important to you and the public.
