Writing Assignment Progress Report
Submit a brief update on how you are doing with your course paper. This should be no longer than a page and should include your major thesis or argument, a list of at least 4 sources you will be using, and a tentative outline of how you think your paper will eventually look (you will not be held to this when the final draft is graded).
Do not cite the textbook or online sources such as Wikipedia or Ask.com. You are strongly encouraged to make use of journal articles, documents, and books though use of academic history books available in your local public library system and articles, government documents, newspapers, and magazines accessible through Ivy Tech Library’s Discover!Links to an external site. The “Suggested Reading” list at the end of each chapter in the textbook is an excellent starting point.
When finished, click on “Submit”.
You may use either the MLA or APA format to cite the sources used within your paper. Links to the guides for these formats and other useful information from Purdue’s Online Writing lab can be found under the “Resources” Module.
