Guidelines for Writing about Sources:
Assume that your audience is unfamiliar with the articles. *Include a brief but effective summary of the two text in the introduction. When drawing on these sources in your body paragraphs, include specific, detailed evidence through paraphrases or quotations. Each thing you report from the article should be linked to the purpose of your paper.
*Differentiate your own ideas from those of your sources. Be sure to be clear when transitioning from one to the other, giving credit to the source author for all of his or her ideas.
