Applied Learning/Product Adaptation

Based upon your international marketing expertise, a domestic marketing communications firm has hired you to make recommendations – specifically, product decisions with respect to selling the following three products (cereal, hamburger, and smartphone) in three different international markets you selected from Global Edge.
You are tasked to make product adaptation decision (be specific) for those markets based on the various factors that would justify/necessitate adaption.
Product Adaptation Template
You may use the Product Adaptation template to guide your work or create a unique document. If not using the template, make sure all criteria are covered.
After completing the worksheet, conduct online research and identify companies that sell those products to the each country and see what kind of adaptations they have made.
Once you have conducted your research, answer the following questions:

  1. How do those adaptation made by the companies compare to the changes you have suggested?
  2. What were the main reasons for the differences in product adaptations you had suggested and what the company has actually done?
  3. How successful (profits, sales, market share etc) has the company been in that international market?
  4. Do you see any patterns of product adaptations needed in the same country for different products? Explain those patterns.

Your response to the questions should be a minimum of 500 words (two pages) and is due by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. (ET).
