At risk youth and children

The reading focused on what makes children and youth “at risk.” Why is it helpful to think about risk factors and what puts children “at risk?” On the flip side, how might these labels be harmful?
Can you think of other groups that are “at risk” that were not covered by the reading? What are some of the circumstances that children who belong to these groups experience?
Within your own work, provide an example of a child or youth who you consider to have shown resiliency. Use pseudonyms to protect the confidentiality of the client.
