Project description
In this research paper, it argues of my interpretation of Hobbes explaining the state of nature and human nature between sovereign and the individual for their rights. This paper aims to views some of Hobbess nature of right and interpret them with Hobbess view of points. Specifically, when society act right or righteous for their self-interest war against all. I will specifically distinguish the differences between Rightness, fear, selfishness, and self-preservation and how they are related to justice. In the beginning, I will interpret how the human nature and their motions affect the society for being right or wrong as Hobbes augured. Then, I will evaluate how the natural condition of men and how they are all equal and how it influences to change their behaviors for their reasoning and appetite or being self interest. Further more, I will clarify what justice meant to Hobbes in the State of Nature by demonstrating specific examples.
In addition, I will provide detailed explanations of what make the human nature can be benevolence and altruism and what motivate sovereign to follow social contract which Hobbes call it The right to be wrong. In particular, I will explain how human nature and their rights are untenable and how government used to derives other laws and rights from the acceptance of governors, which will identify the real justice, and the right in Hobbess perspectives in my interpretation.
