Bible passage analysis

  Select a passage (5-10 lines) from the Hebrew Bible that is of interest to you. You can select any passage covered from Exodus thereafter (NOT Genesis). Analyze the passage with careful attention to the specific language of the text. Identify one or two major themes and explain how these themes are handled in your chosen passage. How are different characters portrayed? What words or phrases particularly strike you as revealing something interesting about the mindset of the author or a character? The best papers will be clearly written and will create a structure in which the transition from one point to the next seems logical and coherent.
