Biofeedback

Biofeedback is a technique that provides people information about some of their body functions, usually in a visual manner. With that information, people can be trained to voluntarily increase or decrease the measured function. For example, they can be trained to regulate activity in a particular brain area. Imagine that a biofeedback machine is invented that allows to very precisely measure activity in any brain area that one chooses. Indicate five uses for this biofeedback machine (focusing on five different brain areas) and explain the mechanism of action.
