Explain how a mutation in your gene would affect its function Find a human ortholog of your gene and do briefly explain if it's associated with any diseases or disorders. If you can't find an ortholog in humans, find any other species. Excplicitly state the objectives of the project and briefly mention the broad steps you've done (save the details for the methods section)   Gives a 3-4 sentence summary of the methods, so the reader knows what to expect Describes how flies were cultured and manipulated.
