pick a movie analyze the legal issues in the movie. The legal issues incorporated into the paper must be covered in any of the classes. No movies which are completely legal in nature – i.e., The Firm, The Pelican Brief, The Client, The Verdict, etc. – or movies which are dominated by obvious criminal elements -such as murder, kidnapping, etc. – are allowed as topics. please keep in mind that you must discuss elements in the movie which relate to those discussed in the assigned class materials.
Each paper must be between seven and ten pages in length, typed and double-spaced. Please have an introduction and a conclusion with various points of discussion in between.
the idea here is for you to watch the movie and tell me, out of ordinary scenes in the movie, whether somebody could sue somebody else. Maybe there is a car accident in the movie that could lead to a negligence suit. Maybe there are contracts formed in the movie – which some might be enforceable, some not. Maybe there is a case for civil assault and battery due to a fight. Maybe there are employment issues within a movie. BUT the idea is that I want you to tell me what those possible lawsuits are.
