Case Analysis and Defining the Framework of Pharmaceutical Companies: How CSR affects the performance in the Pharmaceutical industry
Preferred lаnguаge style: Englіsh (U.S.)

Comments on document which will be uploaded, please change the document according to the following comments by my
professor:

”Although the research objectives have been modified (p.8), the introduction of the document still refers to the relationship between CSR and
business profitability it has to be eliminated.
Section 2.6 (pp.20-22) also discusses the relationship between CSR and sales which needs to be changed.

The research objectives were modified in accordance with the previous comments.

Section 2.4 (pp.16-17) entitled “CSR activities in pharmaceutical
companies” should not appear in the literature review chapter.

The literature review should focus on a review of academic literature focusing on the
research objectives:
(i) CSR actions; (ii) communication of CSR’s efforts; (iii) business incentives to engage in CSR actions.
A REORGANIZATION OF THE
CHAPTER OF LITERATURE REVIEW IS THEREFORE NECESSARY.

Thus, the title of Section 2 (pp.13-22) should not refer to the pharmaceutical industry.

The methodology was modified to make it compatible with the research objectives. However, section 2.2 (pp.25-26) should be eliminated because interviews conducted by
other researchers are secondary data for your study.

Considering the following comment: The methodology based on an econometric model as proposed does not
hold the road: A sample of 5 firms is clearly insufficient to have statistically valid results: Access to the data needed to estimate the proposed model seems
problematic. How do I get an estimate of dollar expenditures for each CSR category of CSR action? I do not think that the sources of information mentioned in the text
(corporate websites, financial reports) contain this level of detail.”
