A. Select a country or region outside of the United States that has a significant rural population. Describe what is known about the nature (cause and consequences) of the same general problem analyzed in the US in the earlier sections of this paper with the country or region selected for this international comparison.
B. Compare and contrast the approach to social welfare taken in this country (or region) with the approach taken in the US in terms of its place on the continuum of residual to universal approaches to social welfare.
C. Compare and contrast the approach taken in the selected country/region with the US in terms of its alignment with social work’s concerns with human rights, social, economic and environmental justice.
