Civil religion

  Civil religion is defined by Boss as an institutionalized set of beliefs, symbols, and rituals that provide a religious dimension to a nations collective life. Name at least four elements/ characteristics found in a religious service (of worship) which are also evident in an event celebrating a nations history/ national life. Although Boss notes that civil religion can have a very noble/ ethical effect on a nations life, she also warns of an ever-presents danger. What is that danger?
