Commonly-used metaphor
• Identify and analyze a commonly-used metaphor (either one of Lakoff's examples or one you have identified in the world).
• Explain the effects of this metaphorical concept on how we think and behave.
• Invent your own original metaphor on the same subject and give an analysis of how it could be used.
• Compare your new metaphor to the old one, and discuss the implications of using your metaphor vs the old one.
