Composition Function
This week, one topic we learned about was composite functions. For discussion this week, lets practice composing function and finding the domain of the composite function. Consider the following
functions: f(x) = 2x - 5 g(x) = 3x2 x â1 h(x) = 2 over x j(x) = fraction numerator x minus 3 over denominator x plus 1 end fraction k(x) = square root of x plus 4 m(x) = square root of x minus 1
end root Choose two and compose them. (You cannot choose BOTH f(x) and g(x) though.) Show all steps and simplify as much as possible. Then, state the domain of the composed function (showing
work/giving explanation here as well).
