Corporate Governance + Capital Structure + Financial Distress (Bankruptcy) with two cases which I uploaded and I attached Outline for Corporate Governance + Capital Structure + Financial Distress (Bankruptcy)
A note on my intent on the reflection papers and cases. You may be aware of Bloom’s taxonomy of learning with learning being split between a lower order (remembering, comprehending, and applying) and a higher order (analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing (or creating)). Graduate classes should be focused on the higher order levels. Through the cases I expect you to be able to analyze and evaluate the concepts we discuss. What are the issues at hand? Why are they issues? Explain the alternatives and recommend a solution. With the cases I want to see your work — how did you arrive at your conclusions? Justify you work, not just say “I think.”
The intent of the reflection papers is to evaluate and synthesize our discussions of concepts and the cases. What are the concepts? How do the cases show these concepts? How are they similar? how do they contrast?
