Write a 500- to 750-word critical response to Hyland (2016). In a critical response paper the writer analyzes and responds to another paper. It generally has two parts: (a) a summary of the main points of the paper and (b) the writer’s reaction to these points, supported by an analysis of the papers strengths and weaknesses. That is, it is not simply a statement of your opinion about the issue discussed in the paper, but a critique of how well the original author has supported his/her claims.
