    This log works best when you make an entry after each day when you have activity to report. Your memory is fresh, and you won’t need to reconstruct what you have done when completing the Final Assignment (Assignment 4). Log instructions: 1. Please use the provided Excel spreadsheet to document your hours 2. Date (column A): Please state date of each entry 3. Setting (column B): Please state setting of each entry 4. Time (column C) a. Please state actual numerical time. For example, do not state 0800-1000. Please state: 2 (for 2 hours). b. Do not state “hr.” or “min.” Please state actual numerical time. For example, please do not state, 2 hr. and 30 min. Please state 2.5. c. The excel sheet is to help you add up your time accurately, so it is important that you follow the instructions above. 5. Activity Summary (column D): Please state the activities being done for the time frame. See syllabus for appropriate project activities. 6. Total your hours. 7. Save your log with your name and log number; e.g. Smith_ActivityLog1. Your activity logs will be graded according to the rubric below. Activity Log Rubric Criteria/Points 20-25 Points 18-19 Points 0 Points All criteria met: includes appropriate project activities listed from start of project to present; hours are totaled. Criteria partially met: may include activities unrelated to project, &/or does not include running list of activities from start of project to present, &/or hours are not totaled. Log not submitted You may include as lab time activities such as: • Research (library or internet) • Planning meetings; actual meetings (phone or virtual contact) • Completing assignments • Creating project documents • Developing project strategies • Working on log entries • Consultations with faculty • Readings from text and other relevant sources • Consultation with course faculty • Creating final project report, slide presentation, self-evaluations, assignment appendices, course evaluations, etc.
