Philosophers like Plato and Descartes often describe our day to day life as something like livingin a world of illusions (perhaps illusions manufactured by others). Do you see this idea at work in ‘The Matrix’, or any other film you would like to talk about?

Describe some of the ways in which Descartes’ philosophy is illustrated by
