A brief summary of the existing literature dealing with the type of facility that you are proposing The name of your facility Background information about the location of your facility TARGET MARKETS Identify 2-3 target markets – baby boomers, families, special interest groups age, gender, income MOTIVATION Why would each target market be coming to your facility? Use theories of motivation to support this section PROMOTIONAL STRATEGY What is the image you are trying to create? LAYOUT AND ORIENTATION Describe the areas and layout of your facility how you will manage visitor use, flows and movement What orientation aids (maps, brochures, signs) will you use to help visitors? How will you manage queues, crowding and capacity issues Describe and justify the use of ambient features (light, music etc) STAGING THE EXPERIENCE Describe what activities will be offered Describe how you will stage/theme the experience MANAGING IMPACTS AND RISKS Identify 3 potential positive and/or negative impacts and how you will manage these Identify 3 potential risks and how you will manage these Summarise the main points of your report, stating why you believe your facility would be a success.
