Design of the intervention

  propose the idea and design of the intervention. This can be an outline or you may respond to each question with a few sentences. In it you must address all of the following questions: What is the prejudice you are intervening on? Is this type of prejudice a problem in the US (and explain why)? What “ingredients” (e.g., contact, perspective taking, education – these are all ingredients) will your intervention have and, briefly, why are those the best “ingredients” to choose? Who is the target of your intervention (i.e., the group that you want to reduce prejudice in)? What is the research design and procedure for your intervention (i.e., what’s the intervention actually going to look like)? How long will the intervention last? How will you assess effectiveness (i.e., how will you measure whether there was change as a result of your intervention)?
