Developing Science in the Primary Classroom

    A reading response gives you the opportunity to reflect and build upon the main ideas introduced in the materials for this course. For this assignment, please respond to the Session 7 reading, "Developing Science in the Primary Classroom"Preview the document by Harlen and Jelly. Scan the reading and choose the section that was most interesting to you. Make this section the topic of your Reading Response Paper. Each Reading Response Paper should be approximately 750 words long, and have two parts: Choose one major idea in the reading that is of meaning to you as a teacher and learner. Write a brief summary of this one major idea. This should be no more than a half page. Title this section: “Summary.” Write why this major idea has meaning to you, and how this idea influences your thinking and practice as a teacher and learner.
