Project description
This week we will examine the functions and composition of the House of Lords. We will ask what the Lords does, whether it does a good job, and how it might change in future. We will also critically assess the role of the Lords in modern democratic Britain.

Under what circumstances is rebellion by Members of the House of Commons most likely to be effective?
