Evakuating communication and interpersonal skills in groups
As part of the participant’s role on the strategic workgroup, they will need to have strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively to gather information and provide status updates to their sites. As the executive committee decides which employees to select for this group, they will need to be able to know what skills are needed and how these skills can be developed by the work group, so the process is successful.
Write a 1-2 page paper using the project scenario to evaluate communication and interpersonal skills that work group participants should have or be able to develop to be successful. Make recommendations for how you will identify people with these characteristics or develop these skills, so the executive committee can select the best candidates.
