a. Select and use appropriate methods for evaluation of outcomes.
- The student will be able to consult with the Field Supervisor regarding the best evaluation approach to be used for the nursing home clients.
b. Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment, person-in-environment, and other multidisciplinary theoretical frameworks in the
evaluation of outcomes.
- The student will be able to discuss and demonstrate knowledge of how self-determination in the clients and other human behaviors can affect outcomes and
evaluation.
c. Critically analyze, monitor, and evaluate intervention and program processes and outcomes.
- The student will be able to make use of weekly sessions that will help the clients to measure the progress that they have had towards achieving their goal
and make adjustments to the intervention as needed.
d. Apply evaluation findings to improve practice effectiveness at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
- The student will be able to pick out the strengths from the evaluation findings and point out changes that could be made in the future that may lead to
better outcomes for the clients in the nursing home.
