Event Feasibility

  The purpose of this assignment is to evaluate the feasibility of an event. Once a venue is selected for an event, it is essential that the event planning group analyze the site and consider all the elements necessary to produce a successful event. The group will explore the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the event from the differing roles/perspectives of each group member to determine the event feasibility. Individually locate an article or press release of a previous event that was held at the venue or location for the assigned event scenario. This article or press release should be different from those of your group members. Review the information regarding this venue, the city, and the target audience in attendance.
