Fund raising Database

Your (fictional) manager, Sarah Trindle, has identified some questions she would like you to answer using the Fundraising Database.

The database is a sample of the history of donors that have contributed to your non-profit company. It includes many variables about the demographics of the

donors and the amount they have donated.
What is an interval estimate of the average donation for the population based off this sample?
What is an interval estimate of the proportion of donors that are home owners for the population based off this sample?
Is there a significant difference between the mean maximum donation between donors that own a home and those that do not own a home?
We want to make a claim that the average donation is $13 for the population. Does this sample provide evidence against that claim?
Conduct appropriate confidence intervals and hypothesis tests at 95% confidence (5% significance) to answer these questions and summarize your results in a

formal report to your (fictional) manager, Ms. Trindle.

Within each question, add detailed explanations of your findings. How did you come up with the response? What analysis did you use and what was the output? If

you conducted a hypothesis test, what were your hypotheses? What would be your conclusion to the question? What is your recommendation to your manager?

This is a written report in a word document. The outputs should be pasted within the text of your report (not just at the end). The length of the report

should be at least 750 words.
