          Go to the CDC website . Click on “More” to get a dropdown menu, and then click on “Global Health.” On this page, click on “Global Health Issues,” and it will take you to a page titled “Explore Global Health Issues.” From here, you can choose to click on the box titled “Other Diseases and Threats” to get an alphabetical index of global threats by the name of the disease. Choose any disease that is caused by a pathogenic microorganism and is of interest to you. Once you have chosen a disease, answer the following questions in your discussion post: State the name of the pathogen and the causative agent (what group of pathogens does it belong in). How is this pathogen transmitted, and what disease does it cause? Where around the world is it found? Based on what you have learned about the immune system in this module, explain what type of immune response this pathogen would elicit in your body.
