DISSERTATION TOPIC TITLE:How do motivational theories empower characteristics, behaviours and attitudes of staff within UK retail industry ?
configure variety of motivational theories and see how these relate to characterisitics, behaviours and attitudes from the hierachy within retail.

Furthermore, i shall investigate live experiences by conducting primary research alongside this i will support my studies with theories.
I will also conduct my research by interviewing employees and identifying the different aspects of motivational theories that enhance their perfomance aswell as achieving the aims and objectives of the business thus meeting the needs and expectations of consumers.

Learning outcomes:
– Relating motivational theories to employees in various job roles in retail and evaluating their experiences.
– How motivational theories help employees to overcome lack of moral and energy into their job.
– Understanding how various organisations support their members of staff in terms of motivating and increasing productivity for betterment of their organisation.
– Consequences of lack of motivation within organisations; i.e quality of products and services provided.
Methodalogy – I shall use books and journals as part of my research. I may speak to B&Q staff in Solihull branch to achieve primary data first hand; this shall include senior management. To get a variety of data i may travel to more than one store depending on how many volounteers there may be from Solihull branch. Each result may not be consistent as each individual may differ in response.
