Immigrant children seeking asylum
You are in charge of helping a group of thirty immigrant children who have come to the US seeking asylum. They are all classmates coming from a war-torn area, and in previous years they have experienced limited access to food and clean water, they have been exposed to diseases and infection, and they have lived through several bombings. Using concepts from biopsychology, explain five expectations that you would have regarding these children’s behavior in the future, and how it could affect their assimilation to US society.
