Imogene M King’s theory
In Imogene M King’s theory, King described her theory as a general
system framework which had been classified as both an interpersonal and
a systems theory. King’s theory is composed of three critical
components: personal systems, interpersonal systems and social systems.
Describe how this model could help you in developing your nursing
practice.
According to the philosophy of King’s theory and the characteristics of
your practice setting, analyse whether this particular theory or its
principles can be applied to your current nursing practice throughout the
nursing process.
According to the needs and characteristics of your clinical setting, design
an evidence-based practice (EBP) project, and integrate the five phases
of the research process into your project plan.
