Influence of an individual’s salary when choosing an online dating site, the relationship between motive and method in cases of homicide, or the relationship between gender and the frequency of online bullying Overview The final project for this course is the creation of a research paper, which will be constructed over the duration of the course. This final project is a demonstration of student competency since it provides an opportunity to conduct a research proposal as well as an opportunity to collect, analyze, and report the results. The project is divided into four milestones, which will be submitted at various points during the course to build upon previous submissions, and to ensure high quality final submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Modules Two, Four, Six and Seven. Main Elements The major components of the paper are, in order: 1.    Title Page 2.    Abstract 3.    Introduction 4.    Method 5.    Results 6.    Discussion 7.    References Guidelines Milestone One: Research Topic In Task 2-1, you will submit your Research Topic via the discussion forum. Potential research topics may include: The influence of an individual’s salary when choosing an online dating site, the relationship between motive and method in cases of homicide, or the relationship between gender and the frequency of online bullying. This assignment will be graded for participation using the Discussion Rubric. Feedback should be applied to the final project. Milestone Two: Annotated Bibliography In Task 4-2, you will submit your Annotated Bibliography. The format should be a word document. This assignment will be graded using the Annotated Bibliography Rubric. Feedback should be applied to the final project. Milestone Three: Rough Draft In Task 6-2, you will submit your Rough Draft. The format should be a word document.  This assignment should include an introduction, annotated bibliography, and all necessary components to serve as a framework for the final draft. This assignment will be graded as Full Points/ No Points. This assignment will affect your final grade. Feedback should be applied to the final project. Milestone Four: Research Paper In Task 7-3, you will submit your Research Paper. It should be a complete, polished artifact containing all of the main elements of the final product.  It should reflect the incorporation of feedback gained throughout the course. This milestone will be graded using the Final Product Rubric.
