- What do you see as the 1-2 key things that we need as a society need to do to create more positive, ongoing intercultural contact among groups? Should there be training and awareness workshops? Should all environments have an "intercultural mixing" approach? Discuss what we could do as a society by way of programs, education, incentives, laws and policies, mixed/cooperative housing, and other social interactional opportunities?
- What are some specific/concrete ways in which you as an individual could help to create more intercultural contact (and optimal conditions for such intercultural contact) in your community and workplace? At SJSU? At your church or place of worship? In your athletic teams or leisure venues? Among your network of friends and loved ones? Discuss these.

1) Go back and review your weekly and monthly tallies of each of the 5 intercultural habits that you were to keep track of, as listed below.
Initiate an intercultural interaction with someone from a different cultural background.
Apply COMM 174 course concepts the settings around me (interpersonal, campus life, workplace, family).
Share knowledge or an insight about culture that you gained from this class with someone.
Reflect on our course material & think of a ? that you have about culture/ic comm.
Identify an aspect of your life that highlights the relationship between culture & power.
2) Now answer the following questions:
What do you notice about your intercultural habits over the semester?
Which of the habits above did you find that you were doing more of? Which ones were harder to engage in? Why do you think that was the case?
Which intercultural habits were particularly difficult? Why do you think that was the case?
Which intercultural habits were the most fun or enjoyable to engage in?
Which ones were you more motivated to complete and why? What about the ones that you were less motivated to engage in ? Why those?
How might you maintain and or increase your intercultural habits in the future after this class?
What intercultural goals do you want to set for yourself as you leave this course?
