Take a product, maybe the product you've already looked at for your Feature/Benefit Analysis, and start thinking about who the target market is. Who pays for that thing? This is your audience, and I want you to define them.   First, identify the product you're trying to move.   Next, detail basic demographic information on its target market, like age, gender, and location. Go deeper with income, education level, parental status, marital status, hobbies, brand loyalties, and additional product ownerships if you can. Does this audience have a particular need? A particular want? Does your audience have a name? Could you give them one?   Next, detail this audience's primary means of communication. How do they see ads? How would you best target them? Do they watch football on cable TV? Or international tennis online? Do they read? What social networks do they use? Can you buy ads on those social networks, or will you have to rely on influencers to get your message out? What kind of language does your audience use? Are there keywords they are likely to respond to? Are there lifestyle choices they've made that you can use to your advantage?
