          JAZZ PERFORMANCE ESSAYS By observing live jazz performances and concerts (or in this case, YouTube videos, due to the COVID-19 situation), students become exposed to a diverse range of jazz musicians and music from various composers and arrangers. In addition to further developing a broad range of musical interests and tastes, it is also essential for students to describe and express the experience of a live performance through written format. There are three jazz essays that you will need to compose and submit for this course, each counting 4% of your final grade. For these assignments, select ONE YouTube video from each of the three categories listed below and submit an essay on that performance by the required due date indicated below.
