Coursework Question
Jasmine has just moved into her a house she purchased two days ago from Khalid. She was upset to discover
that the very large free-standing greenhouse in the garden which Khalid partially used as a summerhouse and
was connected to the electricity and water supply had been removed.
Inside the property Khalid has left the table in the kitchen which could be electronically lowered or raised so it
could be used as a table or kitchen worktop. The table was bolted to the floor and was designed by the kitchen

removed from the kitchen because it took up a lot of space.
There was no mention of any of these items in either the contract or any correspondence between Jasmine,

She is also upset to discover that her neighbour, Malika is currently building a basement underneath her
property and the local rumour is that the basement will extend underneath Jasmine’s property.
After work that Wednesday, Jasmine went to the hair salon and noticed a modern platinum and diamond
pendant lying under the chair. She handed the pendant to Fagin, the hair salons owner, and said that if no one
came forward to claim it she would like to keep it. She notified the police and asked Fagin to place a notice in
the shop window.
Four months later no one has come forward to claim the pendant. Fagin is refusing to hand over the pendent
since he would like to keep it for himself.

table?
2. Discuss whether Jasmine can prevent her neighbour fr
