Select research methods to help you fill in the gaps in your information. You need to consider both secondary and primary research. Use all material gathered for your secondary research within the target market demographics. Consider the interpretation of the data you are collecting and its relationship to the behavior of the consumer you are trying to reach. As you identify the relevant demographic data, begin defining the potential life stages of the target. Use the information provided by the secondary research to build demographic and life stage insights and characteristics about your target market. Describe the behaviors you might associate with these insights. Why do you think so? Enter the new information gathered using secondary resources in a table format, and write a brief narrative describing your target based on the information collected.
Post the resources you used in your research and the narrative giving a clear image of the target consumer to this Discussion Area.

The goal of this assignment is to provide links between the lifestage of a consumer and the actual behavior as it relates to purchasing goods and services. Various lifestages have different demands as it relates to products and services consumed for personal use. Based on your data collection and analysis, share your thoughts and conclusions as it relates to the potential lifestages of the target and how these lifestages could translate to consumer behavior. For example, a newlywed couple without children will have very different consumption preferences and demands then a couple or family that has been together for over five years and has children.
