Media exploration essay

The Media Exploration Essay involves monitoring these two sources of information, starting at the beginning of the semester. Listen daily (I'm asking for 15 minutes during your commute) to one of the Public Radio Stations: WGBH 89.7FM, or WBUR 90.9FM, AND look at their websites. (www.wgbh.org/radio, and www.wbur.org). Acquaint yourself with the programming by listening at different times of day and looking at the podcasts on the website. Write a 2-3 page essay about your experience with listening to Public Radio, and exploring The New York Times. How did you approach this exploration? What were your impressions of the journalism? (What programs did you listen to? Did you have a struggle with the listening? What were your reactions to this programming? What did you like? What did you dislike? What comments can you make about the journalism and content quality of the programming that you heard?)
