communities in the late 19th century American Southwest, the Immigrant Generation, the Mexican American Generation, and the Chicano Movement(s). Your paper should
revolve around four very specific themes: migration, discrimination, resistance, and identity. You do not have to use examples from every reading!!! Use only those
readings and films that support your analysis–but–be sure to use examples. You will be harshly penalized if you do not use the lectures, readings, and films to support
your analysis.
