In a workplace people from different cultural background will come together to work, so in order to maintain peace and harmony within the office environment, people at the management level should be culturally competent. They should treat all the cultural people equally without any differences, only then the work process will go on smooth, and the organization would be able to reach their goal. Multicultural leadership is important because of the need to keep competitive advantage (“Why Is Multicultural Leadership Important?”, 2016).
