Music with or without lyrics

In the research done by Anderson et al (2003), music with or without lyrics, music videos, TV, movies, and video games with violent themes may lead to violent and aggressive behaviors. How can we limit the effects of these things on our youth and all ages? Can it be taught not to have adverse reactions to these stimuli?
