Newspaper Analysis

• Select a newspaper article either using some macroeconomic concept(s) that is studied in class or discussing current monetary/fiscal policy. • The arUcle could be found in the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, New York Times, the Financial Times, and other similar newspapers.

• The article must be published in the recent two years. • Clearly define the issue or policy in the article with your own words and describe the background related to it. • Provide a balanced assessment of opinions. • Conclude with a policy recommendation or solution to the problem. • Carefully cite the references and data resources when needed. • The paper is required to be typewritten in 12-inch font and double-spaced.
