Nursing Lesson Plan
Students Will create a classroom lesson plan and place the following information in the appropriate columns Of the Lesson Plan template:
1- Write at least 2 objectives for the class and label each objective according to Bloom's Taxonomy domain and the associated level-
2- Design two pre-class activities-
3- Develop a brief outline Of the class topics-
4- LiSt at least two instructional Strategies to be used for the Class-
5- Design an in-class learning activity.
6- Develop a Classroom assessment for the Class-
7- Indicate the allotted time for Class element, and place in parentheses next to each element-
8- APA format is required (attention to spelling/grammar, and a title page)- For the table, a 10 or 12 point font maybe used for the table-
9- Use Landscape page layout for the table
10- Submit in the Assignment Drop BOX on the due date and time- DO not submit to Turnitin-
Part 2: Scholarly Paper
Write scholarly paper based on the information in the table Created for Part 1- Include the following criteria:
1- Write a detailed description Of the instructional Strategies selected in Part 1-
a- Describe the rationale for selection-
b- Explain now each instructional Strategy Will be used for different parts Of the class-
c- Describe the learning styles met with each strategy employed-
(1. Describe at least one research study that provides evidence for the effectiveness Of this strategy-
2- Write a detailed description Of a learning activity to be used in the class-
a- Describe the rationale for selecting this activity including the domains Of learning used in the learning activity and the learning styles met with the
learning activity.
b- Explain what the students Will be doing in the activity-
C- Describe the instructions needed for the activity-
3- Write a detailed description Of the Classroom assessment techniques that Will be used for the Class- The description should also include the
following:
a- Describe the rationale for selection-
b- Explain how the techniques and results Will be used-
4- The scholarly paper should be in narrative format, 4 to 6 pages excluding the title and reference page-
5- Include an introductory paragraph, purpose Statement, and a conclusion-
6- Include level 1 and 2 headings to organize the paper-
7- Write the paper in third person, not firSt person (meaning do not use âwe' or T) and in a scholarly manner. To clarify: l, we, you, me, our may not
be used- In addition, describing yourself as the researcher or the author should not be used-
