Observation Essay

1. Directions for conducting the Observations: You must observe two children from two different age groups who are in two separate settings (see specific criteria below). Plan to observe each child for approximately 30-40 minutes. Observation must take place during the course of this current semester, for the sole purpose of completing this assignment. This observation must be done at a time when you are not working or interacting with the children. You have 2 choices: 1. Observe a child under the age of 24 months AND observe a child between the ages of 3-5 OR 2. Observe a child in one preschool aged child (3-5 years old) AND observe a child between the ages of 6-11.
