Understand different approaches to management and leadership

You are required to select a business from the Times 100 (operating in the UK) and analyse how organisational theory supports the principles of organising. Also compare different approaches to management showing evidence of two real business organisations. You are required to generate a report on the following learning outcome and topics:
Recently there are changing conceptions of the nature of management and leadership, along with challenges that each of the approaches poses to the development of the organization.

2.1 Compare the effectiveness of different leadership styles in different organizations.

2.2 Explain how organisational theory underpins the practice of management.

2.3 Evaluate the different approaches to management used by different organizations (You MUST show evidence of real organization examples)
