An EXAMPLE – of how you should be writing using an APA formatted style: In my opinion, I believe that a leader-follower relationship stimulates inspiration within the followers ambition to become a successor of a leader in which the follower initially inspired by. In Chapter 1, Lussier & Achua (2012) describes the Leader–follower relationship as the actual leaders’ ability to influence the behavior of their followers, and vice versa, but the Influencing aspect eventually reflects on the relationship between leaders and followers, in which a role change is normal for successors. The authors believe that Organizational objectives are the overall outcomes that leaders and followers want to accomplish (Lussier & Achua, 2012). Good leadership qualities can lead to the overall success of an organization – which is one main reason why I believe that good leadership is important to companies. In support of this, the authors stated: “The success of individual careers and the fate of organizations are determined by the effectiveness of leaders’ behavior. Leadership is considered crucial for success, and some researchers have argued that it is the most critical ingredient.” (Lussier & Achua, 2012, p3 para 4). EXAMPLE II – of how you should be writing using an APA formatted style: In my opinion, I believe that Public Relations is an organizations approach towards maintaining and sustaining a positive image in the eyes of the public audiences and consumer. Seitel (2010), indicated that managing how information is conveyed between two parties (i.e. an organizations and the public). The aim of PR is to provide a company or business the types of exposures that would be of particular interest to a general or targeted audience, though means public interest and multimedia news channels that do not charge fees. The overall goal of PR in a company is most likely associated trying to persuade the public, investors, partners, employees, and other stakeholders to maintain a certain point of view about it, its leadership, products, or of political decisions.
