Reflection on Academic and Professional Experience During my time in the Master of Science in Information Systems Audit and Control program, I have gained a strong foundation in the principles and practices of information systems auditing, control, and security. I have also had the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field. In addition to my academic coursework, I have also gained professional experience through internships and part-time work. I have worked as an IT auditor and as a security analyst. These experiences have given me the opportunity to apply the skills that I have learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Future Goals In the next 2-3 years, I would like to accomplish the following professional development goals:

• Obtain the CISA certification
• Develop my skills in cloud computing
• Become a member of ISACA

These goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-based. They are also aligned with my career goals of becoming a senior information systems auditor and eventually a chief information security officer. I believe that achieving these goals will make me more competitive in the job market and will also help me to advance my career. I am confident that I can achieve these goals by following the action timeline that I have outlined above and by using the resources that are available to me.
