. The following is an overview of Application 2. Application 2: Program Design Elements A 3- to 5-page paper, plus accompanying documents, that addresses the following: Stakeholder Involvement in Developing Mission Statement, Goals, and Objectives (developed in Week 5) • Explain why it is important for representatives of your target population to be involved in developing the goals and objectives for the program. • Identify which stakeholders you would involve in the planning process, and discuss two or more strategies for facilitating their involvement. Program Design (developed in Week 6, with elements developed in Week 5) • Create a visual representation of your program design (e.g., a table or graph) that includes the program’s mission statement, goal(s), objectives, and activities to meet the objectives. • Develop a Gantt chart with timelines for implementing all activities that will assist in meeting each of your program objectives. Due by Day 7 of Week 6. This week you follow the program design process as it builds from the problem analysis and needs assessment to the development of the mission, goals, and objectives. During this phase, it is important to involve multiple stakeholders to ensure that their perspectives are included. You apply these principles to the planning of your program as you begin working on Assignment 2. In addition, you continue your Practicum Experience.
