Research methods

    The class is research methods The final assignment in this course has two components: a research prospectus and a poster presentation. Research Prospectus - prepare a well-structured and methodologically fluent research proposal drawing upon the knowledge of research design and methods you gained in this course. This is not an actual research project, rather a research proposal. However, for that you must complete a literature review of at least 5-6 pages in length and examine at least 13 texts (scholarly journals/books) as references. Poster - prepare a poster-type presentation of your research proposal. A selection of past student proposals and posters was included for your reference - see the folders Prospectus Examples and Poster Examples below. These examples differ in terms of format, structure, length and overall quality, i.e., they are not all "A" examples, so please be mindful of that.
